Statement from Tanner DiBella In Response To Increased Hostility Against Religious Communities
Rocklin, CA — There seems to be a growing movement in Western Society to defame and discredit religious communities who hold a particular political position.
This political cabal has had a simple strategy for decades: convince the public that if they don’t give them what they want, they will have blood on their hands. Convince the public that divergency is bigotry, that truth is subjective and morality is dogmatic.
Speaking up for a Biblical moral standard in society does not advance an autocratic, militant philosophy. It advances hope, love, justice, and compassion.
You speak your mind openly and freely. You make it known what you stand for and what you refuse to tolerate. But, when a sincere religious person speaks up — they are discredited under the classifications of radical, fanatical, and violent.
So no — I will not keep my opinions confined to my church while you yell yours from the rooftop. I’ll get a taller ladder every time and I will echo the words and sentiment of Jesus to a broken society: know the truth… because it is only truth that will set you free.
